@Ethvau Calorie counting is the only way my man. Exercise will make you feel great while doing it. Because you will be on reduced calories it will make you peckish often if you dont eat stuff that keeps you full longer, so choose some fibrous foods.
One other thing you could look into is intermittent fasting which worked well for me. Basically skip breakfast. You only get to eat calories in an 8 hour window. It stops you from snacking outside that window and I only felt hungry outside the eating window for the first week.
